Exactly Protocol is a decentralized, open-source DeFi protocol that allows users to easily deposit and borrow crypto assets with variable and fixed interest rates. It differs from other fixed rate protocols by determining rates based on the utilization rate of varying maturity pools, thus not needing a custom AMM. Founded in July 2021 and launched on Ethereum Mainnet and Optimism in November 2022 and March 2023 respectively, it is funded by long-term capital partners and has the backing of influential stakeholders. Going forward, it seeks to grow with Optimism's Superchain approach and partner with web3 projects and web2 fintech for Defi adoption. Users can supply their assets to increase the liquidity of the Variable Rate Pool, earning exaVouchers that periodically accrue variable earnings.
