The dHEDGE DAO is a decentralized asset management protocol that connects investment managers with investors on the blockchain. The protocol is powered by Synthetix and operates as a non-custodial and trustless platform. The dHEDGE token, DHT, serves multiple functions, including facilitating decentralized governance, incentivizing investors to deposit assets into top-performing managers, and sharing in protocol revenue and treasury. DHT token holders through staking are able to make decisions governing the DAO, such as reallocations or liquidations. The total supply of DHT tokens is fixed at 100,000,000.
dHEDGE aims to democratize the investing experience by leveraging blockchain technology. It supports a wide range of features, including transparent and auditable on-chain trading activity, trustless trading via designated traders with limited permissions, and non-custodial asset management where designated traders never have ownership of Treasury funds.
DHT Token Utility
The DHT token has several utilities within the dHEDGE ecosystem:
- Governance: DHT token holders can participate in governance through staking, allowing them to make decisions on the direction of the protocol.
- Investor Incentives: DHT tokens incentivize investors to deposit assets into top-performing managers.
- Protocol Revenue and Treasury: DHT tokens share in the revenue generated by the protocol and are stored in a protocol treasury.
- Administration Fees: DHT token holders can charge administration fees on the dHEDGE platform.
dHEDGE Staking V2
dHEDGE has upgraded its staking mechanism to Staking V2, which requires users to pair DHT tokens with dHEDGE vault tokens to create a staked position. This staked position allows users to earn governance voting power and rewards for active participation in the protocol. The staked position is based on three factors for amplifying returns:
- Staked DHT(vDHT): The amount of staked DHT tokens.
- Duration Bonus: The amount of time the position has been staked.
- Performance Bonus: The performance of the dHEDGE vault.
Rewards are realized when the staker decides to "unstake" their position. The updated interface provides calculators to help users optimize their staked position.

- Transparent Trading: All trading activity is on-chain, auditable, and verifiable.
- Trustless Trading: Designated traders are limited to transacting in specific assets or via specific integrated protocols.
- Non-custodial Asset Management: Designated traders never have ownership of Treasury funds.
- Pool Visibility: Pools can be marked as private, removing them from leaderboards and public features.
- Trader Permissions: Managers have control over delegating trader permissions and setting performance fees.
