User Experience
The Radix Wallet aims to simplify interactions with tokens and dApps by offering human-readable transactions for better reliability and fully decentralized multi-factor account recovery.
Developer Experience
Scrypto and Radix Engine form the core of the developer experience. Scrypto is an asset-oriented programming language suggesting intuitive tools and asset management. Radix Engine simplifies Web3 development through security and speed enhancements.
DeFi Applications
Radix supports a wide range of DeFi primitives like yield farming, staking, and lending. It also enables trustless asset exchanges through its unique consensus algorithm, Cerberus, and its interoperable cross-chain liquidity protocols.
Consensus Algorithm
Cerberus, a BFT-style consensus algorithm, allows unlimited linear scalability while maintaining atomic composability. It operates in tandem with a Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS) system for enhanced security.
Tokenology
The native XRD token plays a key role in securing the network through staking in DPoS and is the sole token for paying transaction fees. It has a maximum supply of 24Bn tokens, with detailed allocations available.
