Metronome, accessible at Metronome.io and symbolized by MTN, is a cryptocurrency developed by Bloq that aims to provide "institutional-class endurance" and cross-blockchain compatibility. Metronome was launched in December 2017 and targets becoming the world's first cross-chain compatible cryptocurrency by adding support for Ethereum Classic (initially built on Ethereum). The cross-chain compatibility is facilitated through the creation of exit receipts when leaving one chain and entering another.
