Hydraledger, represented by the symbol HYD, is a blockchain project designed to improve the speed and efficiency of transactions. The project, part of the Internet of People (IOP) ecosystem, builds upon the ARK bridgechain architecture and mirrors upstream changes closely. The Hydraledger blockchain is supported by a Python API, which enables seamless interaction with the Hydra ledger blockchain. This project operates with isomorphic state channels that process transactions off-chain, reducing strain on the main network and allowing for horizontal scaling, much like the Cardano Hydra protocol. By doing so, it aims to increase the overall scalability and speed of transactions within the network.
