HMX is a decentralized perpetual exchange designed to provide cross-margin and multi-asset collateral support on Arbitrum. Unique features include the ability for users to leverage trades up to 1,000x on various asset classes, and leveraged market making using the HLP vault. The platform was created by a team of experienced traders and DeFi users in response to the failure of many centralized trading platforms. Future plans involve cross-chain expansion, adding additional markets, and growing the userbase and community. The HMX token has several utilities including earning a share of protocol revenue, token emission and Dragon Points when staked, governance voting rights, and trading fee discounts.
