- Fully decentralized peer-to-peer trading with no third-party access to funds
- Fees are structured similar to centralized exchanges (CEX) with no per-transaction gas for orders
- All Vega source code and trading data are publicly available
- Leveraged trading with full cross-margining
- Decentralized limit order book (dCLOB) and historic data APIs
- Liquidity provision is rewarded from fee revenue by the protocol
- Users can create markets on any underlying asset through on-chain governance
Audits
Vega protocol is currently in alpha development and undergoing active changes. While not all code is audited, prominent auditors like Solidified, FYEO, and Radically Open Security have reviewed the more stable parts of the protocol.
