Loom Network is a Layer 2 scaling solution for Ethereum that provides a network of DPoS sidechains, allowing for highly scalable blockchain games and DApps while still being backed by the security of Ethereum's mainnet. Loom built the world’s first Plasma Cash implementation, which allows Ethereum-based tokens to be used on Loom sidechains with the full security guarantees of Ethereum.

Loom operates on a Delegated-Proof-of-Stake (DPoS) consensus mechanism, which incentivizes users to contribute towards securing the network through staking and delegation.
Features and SDK
The Loom Network offers an SDK that simplifies application development, enabling developers to build a wide range of dApps without requiring advanced knowledge of Ethereum's native Solidity programming language. Applications developed using the Loom SDK can be integrated into the Loom Network platform through their own unique "dAppChain," designed to carry out distinct rules, consensus methods, and data protocols.
Security and Staking
The network is secured by Ethereum and is further supported by staking, with LOOM holders able to delegate their tokens to help secure the Basechain network and potentially share in rewards.
