Tracer DAO
Tracer DAO is an open-source, smart contract protocol for derivatives operating on the Arbitrum network. The protocol enables users to deploy a derivatives market using the Tracer Factory template. This allows anyone to manage their digital and real-world financial risk.
The protocol includes Tracer Perpetual Pools, a financial primitive that offers low-cost, leveraged exposure to any asset without the risk of liquidation, trust in a centralised party, or leverage limits. The perpetual pools use fully fungible tokens designed for the DeFi economy.
The Tracer DAO utilises the governance token, TCR, which grants its holders the right to participate in governance and vote on proposals. These proposals are community-driven and can include research engagements, advisory roles, protocol upgrades, treasury management, software development, media partnerships, security audits, and other important responsibilities.
The Tracer DAO functions using an upgradeable DAO structure that includes a straightforward propose, vote, and execute system. This structure allows the DAO to execute any arbitrary action as voted on by DAO stakers.
