StakedCelo is a Celo-native open source liquid staking protocol developed by cLabs. It allows users to stake CELO while keeping their assets liquid, supporting the network and earning Epoch Rewards. Deposited CELO is staked to support the consensus mechanism, and users receive stCELO tokens in return. stCELO tokens are freely movable on the Celo blockchain and can be exchanged for CELO at any time. The protocol distributes Epoch Rewards among all stCELO holders, increasing the value of stCELO over time. It aims to promote active user participation, engagement, and composability within the Celo ecosystem.
