Rocket Pool ETH (rETH) is a liquid staking token that represents an amount of ETH that is being staked and earning rewards within Ethereum Proof-of-Stake. As Rocket Pool node operators stake Ethereum on Proof-of-Stake, the resulting rewards increase the value of rETH relative to ETH. This allows holders to benefit from the returns of the Ethereum Proof-of-Stake.

Rocket Pool is a decentralised staking pool protocol for Ethereum designed to be community-owned, decentralised, trustless, and compatible with staking in Ethereum. The protocol enables users to stake ETH and receive rETH tokens, which can be traded or held for staking rewards. rETH is backed by ETH and has a dynamic exchange rate, meaning its value appreciates over time as rewards are earned.
