Rocket Pool is Ethereum's most decentralised liquid staking protocol. It allows liquid stakers to participate by depositing a minimum of 0.01 ETH to receive the rETH liquid staking token. This protocol is fully non-custodial and features economically-aligned node operators who are incentivised to perform well for stakers. Anyone can join as a node operator in a permissionless manner by meeting the 16 ETH requirement. Node operators benefit from both operator commissions and RPL rewards, leading to a boosted ROI.
The Rocket Pool team has extensive experience in the staking space, dating back to 2016. Their solution is designed to be highly decentralised, distributed, and compatible with staking in Ethereum 2.0 on the beacon chain. The project's smart contracts issue an rETH token, representing a tokenised staking deposit, which reflects the rewards earned over time based on each node operator's contributions.
Rocket Pool's unique decentralised staking infrastructure is economically bonded to ensure security and scalability. The node operators play a critical role in maintaining the network's integrity while also benefiting from their contributions.
