HaloDAO is a decentralized application platform focused on facilitating liquidity for regional, asset-backed stablecoins through a stablecoin-optimized automated market maker (AMM) and a stablecoin-focused lending market. It aims at enhancing the access to the permissionless DeFi economy by increasing the supply of region-specific stablecoins, thereby reducing barriers to individual financial participation in regions with high growth and impact potential. The platform uses the native utility token RNBW for governance participation, earning stablecoin profits, collateral for lending markets and the AMM, and more. Initially launched on Ethereum, HaloDAO's functionalities are designed to optimize stablecoin swaps and lending, using features like a custom bonding curve and risk profile optimization. The protocol also includes off-chain voting and on-chain execution for governance decisions and rewards liquidity providers through the xRNBW vesting token. With a total token supply capped at 100 million RNBW, HaloDAO seeks to improve the overall utility and usability of stablecoins in the DeFi ecosystem.
