Functionality

  • Term Deposit and Loan Creation: When a loan request or offer is filled, term deposits and loans are created in the lender’s and borrower’s margin accounts, respectively, recording loan details, including maturity dates.
  • Liquidation and Account Health: Loans with maturity dates in the past are subject to liquidation by the margin program and liquidator, ensuring timely repayment.
  • Origination Fee: A fee of 50 basis points annualized is added to the borrowed amount.
