Fango (XFG) is an open-source decentralized privacy cryptocurrency that employs CryptoNote ring-signatures, a peer-to-peer network, and a blockchain ledger to securely transfer and store value anonymously. The project presents an alternative monetary system where the community of fandom enthusiasts and sound money advocates benefits from their own decentralized money supply, designed to consistently increase in long-term purchasing power. Consensus is achieved through proof-of-work and is limited to desktop-only (CPU/GPU) mining.
Development and Integration
Currently in development are network integrations for the DIGM Audio Album Marketplace and ParaDio, a streaming rewards radio that uses XFG Elder Nodes as exclusive payment infrastructure. Additionally, COLD, Fango's DeFi Banking Suite, will provide off-chain interest yields on term-locked XFG ledger deposits.
