DigitalNote is a decentralized blockchain that utilizes a hybrid Proof-of-Work (bmw512) and Proof-of-Stake (echo512) consensus algorithm. The network supports fast and untraceable transactions along with encrypted messaging features. It is resistant to 51% attacks through its VRX v3.0 technology and offers lightweight wallet functionality that is mobile-ready.
A masternode network enhances the untraceability of transactions and incentivizes users to secure the network. This system enables fast private transactions and peer-to-peer messaging that are difficult to trace or censor. Miners and stakers are encouraged to participate in the network through network fee payouts, ensuring consistent block generation and a fast network.
DigitalNote was originally launched as "duckNote" in 2014 and underwent several rebranding efforts, including "DarkNote," before ultimately becoming "DigitalNote." The original founder(s), known by the pseudonym "dNote," disappeared in 2017, leaving the open source code to be further developed by a community team.
