What is DODO?
DODO is a decentralized exchange (DEX) built on both the Ethereum and Binance Smart Chain networks. It is designed to provide a platform for secure, trustless, and permissionless trading.
Proactive Market Maker (PMM)
The Proactive Market Maker is an oracle-aided algorithm developed by the DODO team. It utilizes price oracles to retrieve accurate market prices of assets as inputs. The PMM then aims to provide ample liquidity near the market price for every asset. This results in liquidity decreasing rapidly when far from the market price.
Functionality and Comparison
DODO's PMM is compared to Automated Market Maker (AMM) models in terms of its ability to provide contract-fillable liquidity. This approach generally leads to lower slippage for traders compared to AMM systems.
