This Ethereum liquid staking solution operates as a two-token system, comprising pxETH and apxETH, tailored for different user preferences. pxETH provides liquidity and flexibility for users to engage in DeFi opportunities, while apxETH is designed for users seeking boosted Ethereum staking yields.
pxETH and apxETH
When depositing ETH, users can choose between holding pxETH or depositing it into an auto-compounding rewards vault for apxETH. pxETH is an ETH-pegged asset that allows users to participate in DeFi activities, such as providing liquidity and lending, with the Redacted DAO promoting these opportunities through its treasury and BTRFLY incentives. apxETH, on the other hand, offers amplified staking yields by leveraging rewards from more than one staked ETH.
Deposits and the ETH Buffer
The majority of deposited ETH is staked on the Ethereum network, while a fraction remains in the ETH buffer for smoother staking and unstaking processes. This buffer facilitates faster ETH withdrawals and will integrate with the Redacted Relayer RPC for meta transactions in the future.
Withdrawals
Withdrawals from the Dinero protocol are subject to limitations based on the rate of validator entry and exit on the Ethereum network. An incentivized withdrawal pool can be used to improve liquidity during periods of high demand, allowing users to receive rewards for providing ETH liquidity.
Yield Stripping [Coming Soon ⚠️]
apxETH yields can be tokenized through yield stripping, enabling users to leverage, hedge, and speculate on future pxETH prices and yields. Users can exchange tokens for the principal and yields earned by 1 pxETH in a given rewards period.
Additional Features
- Pirex ETH integrates with the Redacted Relayer RPC for meta transactions.
- Fees are charged for using the platform and are distributed to the Redacted DAO treasury and rlBTRFLY holders.
- Users can benefit from Ethereum staking rewards, MEV tips, and block rewards through the autocompounding vault.
- Yield stripping and tokenized yields can be used throughout DeFi.
