DAV is designed to create a decentralized transportation market where vehicles and users can connect and unearth opportunities. The project aims to benefit individuals and vehicle companies alike and is currently in advanced discussions with companies in the sectors of drones, robotics, and automotive.
DAV's technology operates based on three key components:
Decentralized Discovery
DAV allows autonomous vehicles to find other vehicles and service providers around them without relying on a central server. Nodes are listed in an efficient distributed hash table that can be accessed quickly.
Communication Protocol
DAV has standardized communication protocols for various transportation scenarios, divided into on-blockchain communication via smart contracts and off-blockchain communication using peer-to-peer protocols.
Trustless Cooperation Tools
DAV ensures trustless cooperation between buyers and sellers through specialized smart contracts that handle multi-party transactions and financial resolutions without requiring prior trust. This guarantees that transactions are secure and reliable.
The platform will cater to various services, including convenient transportation, decentralized delivery, drone communication, and autonomous logistics, enabling a comprehensive ecosystem for shared mobility. The DAV Alliance and DAV Foundation collectively work towards establishing standards and innovations for a global decentralized transportation network.
