BitcoinZ is a decentralized community-driven cryptocurrency (CDD) built upon the foundation of Bitcoin but augmented with zkSNARKs technology. The project's symbol is BTCZ. It offers a user-friendly interface through its graphical wallet, which acts as a wrapper for the BitcoinZ client tools. BitcoinZ is designed to be community-driven without a central authority, ensuring full control remains with the community. Since its foundation, BitcoinZ has aimed to distribute its entire coin supply fairly, adhering to a deflationary model with halvings on its mining rewards every four years to prevent inflation and maintain a healthy circulation of coins.
