About Beyondcoin
Beyondcoin is an open-source, peer-to-peer network-based digital currency. It takes inspiration from the fundamentals of Bitcoin, but does not utilize SHA256 as its proof of work algorithm. Instead, it employs a simplified variant of Scrypt for proof of work (POW), drawing development cues from Tenebrix, Litecoin, and Dogecoin. This peer-to-peer (P2P) network operates without a central authority, where new money issuance and transaction tracking are collectively managed by the network nodes. Beyondcoin aims to provide digital money resistant to quantum attacks.
