It connects both smart contract blockchains like Ethereum, Solana, and Algorand and non-smart contract blockchains like Bitcoin and Dogecoin. The network consists of a proof-of-stake blockchain, observers, and signers for external blockchains.
ZetaChain supports arbitrary logic that executes conditionally on external chain events and directly updates external chain states via its Threshold Signature Scheme (TSS) signed transactions. This allows for the creation of omnichain dApps that interact with different blockchains directly without the need for asset wrapping or bridging. The project aims to provide a platform for global access, simplicity, and utility across any blockchain.
