Governance
The platform operates as a Decentralised Autonomous Organization (DAO), employing a defined governance process for platform amendments. The governance process involves submitting proposals to the community for votes. When requested by ecosystem entities, a youves improvement proposal (YIP) is created and presented for community votes. The voting mechanism uses Beacon, allowing users to vote with the weight of YOUs in their wallet. Supported voting options include abstention, approval, or disapproval. The voting results are reported on the platform, and reports can be downloaded based on Tezos blockchain data.
Deployment of Code Changes
Keyholders control the deployment of code changes that were accepted by a vote. This deployment is managed through multi-sig contracts, requiring four out of seven members to approve an action.
