Ubeswap is a decentralized exchange and automated market maker (AMM) protocol focused on Celo assets. It allows users and applications to trade between any two tokens based on the Celo Blockchain. The protocol is designed after elements from Uniswap, Sushiswap, Synthetix, and Compound to ensure compatibility with existing tools and projects from the Ethereum ecosystem.
Key Features
- Pricing Algorithm: Ubeswap employs a pricing algorithm similar to Uniswap's, following a formula of x*y = k (a fixed constant number), where x and y represent the quantities of tokens in the liquidity pool.
- Liquidity Rewards: Adding liquidity to Ubeswap pools rewards users with 0.25% of all trades involving their added pair, proportional to their pool share. Fees are accumulated in real-time and can be claimed by withdrawing liquidity.
- Token Management: UBE is the governance token of Ubeswap, distributed to liquidity providers. The total token supply will be gradually released over three years, with a fixed allocation for the first year.

- Token Allocations: A total of 6 million UBE tokens will be distributed in the first year, followed by gradual releases over the next two years.
- Use Cases: UBE tokens are rewarded to liquidity providers and can be stored on compatible wallets.
