Key Features
Native Cross-Chain Swaps: THORChain allows for direct, non-custodial, and native-to-native asset swaps across different blockchain networks (e.g., Bitcoin to Ethereum).
No Wrapped Assets: THORChain operates directly with native assets, dispensing with the need for wrapped or pegged tokens.
Decentralized Liquidity Pools: The protocol features continuous liquidity pools, coordinating liquidity providers and node operators to ensure efficiency and security.
Liquidity Synths: THORChain uses a hybrid collateralized-pegged asset design, enabling fast and low-fee swaps between Layer 1 pools.
Distributed Governance: Users can vote using their liquidity for the pools they want to be active, ensuring that the most liquid pools are prioritised.
Security: THORChain maintains robust security through twice-as-many RUNE being bonded by Node Operators as there is RUNE pooled.

RUNE Token: THORChain's native token, used for network participation, swap fees, governance, network security, and incentive distribution.
Node Operators: Validators that are economically incentivized to work within the network's best interest, ensuring security and stability.
Liquidity Providers: Entities that deposit assets into pools, earning fees and incentivizing continued liquidity.
Incentive Pendulum: Rewards liquidity providers and node operators to maintain a target network security ratio, ensuring funds are always secured.
Swap Queue: Orders swaps based on price impact, minimizing potential attacks on the network.
