Sturdy is a lending protocol that enables users to lend interest-bearing tokens and leverage their positions up to 10 times. This leveraged yield farming protocol integrates several protocols across DeFi to provide yield farmers with leverage while individual lenders earn a portion of the yield farming profits, creating a positive-sum interaction. By eliminating the need to charge borrowers interest to generate yield for lenders, Sturdy offers a novel lending ecosystem.
Sturdy is designed to foster composability across the DeFi ecosystem and launched on Fantom in March 2022 and Ethereum in June 2022. It has reached over $30 million in Total Value Locked (TVL) at its peak and transitioned to a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) governed by the $STRDY token. The platform allows users to engage as both lenders and borrowers, with yield farming rewards split between the two parties.

$STRDY is the governance token of the Sturdy DAO, ensuring community-led decision-making and management of the protocol. It has a total supply of 100,000,000 and the token contract address is 0xaeB3607eC434454ceB308f5Cd540875efb54309A.
Next Steps and Features
Sturdy continues to evolve with its V2 iteration, which introduces a novel two-tier architecture to prevent liquidity fragmentation and ensure risk isolation while creating a money market for any token. This includes siloed lending pairs and aggregators that optimize yield by distributing lent assets among these siloed lending pairs. The V2 protocol features enhancements to security and usability and is designed to integrate with multiple DeFi protocols.
