The Stargate Bridged ASTR operates through the Stargate application, which connects to users' EVM wallets. To transfer tokens, users select the source and destination networks (Astar EVM or Astar zkEVM), enter the transfer amount, and confirm the transaction. The gas costs correspond to the destination transaction fees and are paid upfront. Users can request gas tokens on the destination network if needed.
For Astar zkEVM to Astar EVM transfers, it takes up to 8 days to complete the transfer.
