Ripio Coin (RPC) is an ERC-20 token used to stimulate engagement within the Ripio user community across Latin America. RPC tokens can be earned or claimed by Ripio's users by performing activities such as validating their accounts, referring other users, and conducting transactions. The RPC tokens can be used for in-app benefits like transactional fee discounts. The total number of RPC tokens is 10 billion, launched on September 21, 2021. Ripio was founded in 2013 by Sebastian Serrano, Mugur Marculescu, and Luciana Gruszeczka. The company, recognized as a 2020 Technology Pioneer by the World Economic Forum, has 2.7 million users and partnerships with Visa, Circle, and Mercado Pago, among others. RPC tokens can be acquired through Ripio's website or mobile app.
