Quicksilver is a permissionless, sovereign Cosmos SDK zone that provides liquid staking for users across the entire Cosmos Ecosystem. Users are issued a voucher known as qASSET, which serves as a representative of their staked asset and can be used in DeFi protocols. This liquid staking system allows users to delegate their tokens to any validator of their choice while maintaining control over their assets. Quicksilver is designed to seamlessly scale with IBC-connected chains. Furthermore, users retain their voting rights through the Governance by Proxy feature.
QCK is the native token of Quicksilver, used for securing the network through staking, paying transaction fees within the Quicksilver zone, and participating in governance processes. Holders of QCK tokens also receive rewards in the form of Staking Rewards fees collected by the protocol.
