pSTAKE is a liquid staking protocol designed to unlock the liquidity of staked assets. Primarily used for PoS tokens like ATOM, users can deposit their tokens onto the platform to mint ERC-20 wrapped unstaked tokens represented as pTOKENs. These pTOKENs can then be staked to mint 1:1 wrapped ERC-20 staked representatives, such as stkATOM, which generate staking rewards. The accumulated rewards are mirrored in the token, allowing users to claim and utilize them in DeFi protocols to earn additional yield. This protocol allows users to generate high yields by auto-compounding rewards while maintaining the ability to easily use their staked assets in Cosmos DeFi.
