Composable Finance is striving to create an ecosystem around the Composable and Picasso parachains, built on the Kusama network. The Picasso Parachain offers improved interoperability, customization, and security. This system does not require the recruitment of validators for security, lowering the risk of cross-chain transaction failures. Picasso intends to provide dApp developers with the necessary tools to create seamless financial applications. First pallets deployed on Picasso include Apollo and Cubic. Over time, the most promising pallets may graduate onto the Polkadot parachain, a process to be approved by Picasso token (PICA) holders. Composable aims to unlock links among blockchains via a cross-chain, cross-layer networking fabric for a user-friendly, scalable, provable, and decentralized interaction.
