Juno as a public blockchain in the Cosmos ecosystem is aiming to create an environment for the deployment of interchangealble smart contracts. Juno network is decentralized, permissionless & censorship resistant and allows developers to have a secure launch of smart contracts using proven frameworks that means Juno is an open source platform for interchangeable smart contracts, in other words Juno can be considered as a layer 1 smart contract network built on the Cosmos SDK (software development kit), designed to serve as a network without premission for cross-chain smart contracts. Dozens of developers, validators & delegators in the Cosmos ecosystem who had an initiative and one shared goal, to preserve the neutrality, performance & reliability of the Cosmos Hub and offload smart contract deployment to a dedicated sister Hub succeeded to create Juno. Juno is eliminating all potential legal limitations meaning Juno will not conduct any form of seed sale, private sale or public sale. All $JUNO entered circulation via the decentralized network launch on October 1st 2021.
