- Native Coin ICX: Fuels interoperability as the L1 gas token and xCall cross-chain fee token, with associated applications. A significant portion of fees collected in ICX are burned.
- Easy Token Acquisition: ICX can be easily purchased on major centralized and decentralized exchanges, as well as in wallets.

ICX Use Cases
- Governance: ICX holders participate in on-chain governance by staking and delegating to public representatives, receiving daily rewards.
- Transaction Fees: ICX is used for transaction fees within ICON's DeFi protocols and as a gas token for enterprise products.
- Peer-to-Peer Currency: Enables permissionless, borderless, and non-custodial transactions.
- DeFi Collateral: Used as collateral in DeFi protocols such as Balanced, OMM, and Optimus, while supporting enterprise products like Zzeung and broof.
Wallet Options
Three wallets support ICX storage and interactions:
- Hana: Developed by ReliantNode, it supports multiple blockchains and integrates with Ledger hardware wallets.
- ICONex: The original wallet from the ICON Foundation, it supports ICON and Ethereum.
- MyIconWallet: Developed by ReliantNode for mobile devices, it allows dApp access, validator updates, and staking rewards.
