The IBCX is an interchain index token in the Cosmos ecosystem, represented by underlying values. It is uniquely governed by the ION DAO, a highly active entity in the Cosmos realm. The IBCX began with the ION 3.0 proposal and has since incorporated community feedback and suggestions in its development. It was launched on May 17th on Osmosis. The team aims to further develop the project by introducing liquid-staked IBCX with Stride and enabling users to mint IBCX with ETH on Ethereum. Although the IBCX is currently limited to Mint/Burn functions, they project additional features and uses for the token in the future.
