Key Features of HEX
• Interest Earning
Using a proof-of-wait (PoW) protocol, HEX holders earn interest by locking their tokens for a set period, ranging from one day to several years. This interest is paid in HEX tokens, incentivizing holders to keep their tokens staked. The protocol automates minting new coins to pay holders once their stake period ends.
• Time Deposit Economics
HEX mirrors traditional banking CDs by providing higher interest rates for longer holding periods, which are configurable by users. Longer stakes, such as those of up to 15 years, offer greater rewards, pushing the HEX’s price upward due to reduced supply.
