xALGO is an interest-bearing asset that allows users to gain Algorand Governance rewards without having to vote and periodically burn coins. It is unique in that the value of xALGO grows over time and that users can get trading fees on DEXs by providing liquidity. Folks Finance is a non-custodial DeFi protocol providing financial tools for digital assets. Temporarily, market volatility could result in a de-peg of xALGO from its underlying Algo, but this can be resolved by burning xALGO at the end of the governance period.
