ARK is a secure platform providing blockchain technologies for users, developers and startups. The flexible, adaptable and scalable platform allows linked chains and aims at adopting to the needs of consumers and developers. The platform employs a Delegated Proof-of-Stake (DPoS) consensus algorithm. ARK was launched by 27 members dispersed around the world and was largely modeled on Bitshares, Crypti, and Lisk projects. The ARK token has a blockchain network similar to Lisk and Crypti and runs on a DPoS consensus algorithm developed by Bitshares. The platform also includes SmartBridges which facilitate communication and performance of tasks between validated bridged blockchains. The platform also ensures security and privacy for its users. The company's mission is to make blockchain technology accessible for consumers and it develops platforms and services that further its technology and provide both online and offline revenue streams for the ARK Platform.
