GMX is a decentralized spot and perpetual exchange that enables low swap fees and zero-price impact trades. It operates through a unique multi-asset pool called GLP, which earns liquidity providers fees from market making, swap fees, leverage trading, and asset rebalancing. Participants can engage in spot swaps and perpetual futures trading up to 50x leverage directly from their cryptocurrency wallets. This ensures they retain control over their assets while trading. GMX uses Chainlink Oracles for dynamic pricing, combining data from high-volume DEXs. It currently supports the Arbitrum and Avalanche networks. The native token, GMX, functions as a governance, utility, and value-accrual token, allowing holders to participate in governance and earn rewards.
