Gaia's Tears
Gaia's Tears is a substance central to the gameplay of DeFi Kingdoms. It is a tear-like crystal produced by Gaia, the goddess of the earth, when her world was torn asunder by Irae's rage. These tears contain Gaia's power and are warm to the touch. A small number of them can bridge vast expanses and are used to create summoning crystals, which are essential for summoning heroes from the Inner Grove. The tears attune with the heroes involved in the summoning process, gathering their essence and binding it into a single crystal. They are found in small quantities throughout the kingdom and are harnessed by druids to facilitate the summoning process.
