Tribe (TRIBE) is the governance token for the FEI algorithmic stablecoin. It allows holders to vote on the direction and upgrades for the platform and control the DAO treasury. FEI aims to provide a decentralized solution to the stablecoin market by issuing coins against ETH at a subsidized price and utilizing the Ether treasury to maintain the peg.
TRIBE tokens can also be swapped for FEI in a UniSwapV2 liquidity pool. The FEI Protocol and TRIBE token operate together to bridge the gap between crypto-backed and fiat-backed collateral, ensuring liquidity for FEI's price stability.
