FIAT DAO is an Ethereum-based decentralized finance protocol allowing users to access leverage and secondary liquidity against their fixed-income asset positions. Assets from supported fixed-income asset protocols can be provided as collateral to mint FIAT. FIAT can be used to pay off users' debt positions as well as claim the cheapest-to-deliver assets in the protocol.
Governance
FIAT DAO is the digital cooperative managing the development of the protocol. It is governed by token holders of RDAO and stkRDAO, who receive governance power proportional to the sum of their token balances.
Overview
FIAT DAO was founded in 2021 by Maximilian Fiege and has completed one round of fundraising, totalling $2 million. The project aims to create the first on-chain repurchasing market for fixed-income assets.
