The ETH Max Yield Index ($ETHMAXY) is an ERC-20 structured product built collaboratively by Galleon DAO & Beverage Finance natively on the Ethereum network. It enables traders to gain leveraged exposure on their staked ETH yields via stETH and Aave protocol.
Overview
- The index provides a 3x+ stETH levered position by depositing stETH as collateral on Aave and borrowing ETH.
- The process is repeated until the token is 3x+ levered, utilizing the LTV and liquidation threshold on Aave.
- This allows for a higher yield on the stETH collateral.
Functionality
- The token can be held, transferred, and integrated with other DeFi protocols.
- It provides a composable and ERC-20 token for leveraging stETH yields.
Methodology
- The index follows a strict methodology, using stETH as collateral on Aave.
- It allows ETH to be borrowed, wrapped into stETH, and looped until the desired leverage is achieved.
