Composite (CMST) is a collateralized stablecoin developed on the Comdex chain, inspired by MakerDao's robust model for the $DAI stablecoin. Users can mint $CMST permissionlessly against collateralized collateral deposit positions (CDPs) of interchain assets. This stablecoin aims to be a stable representation of purchasing power, soft-pegged to $1 initially, but susceptible to change depending on global macroeconomic conditions.
$CMST can be minted on Harbor Protocol, where users have the flexibility to select from a wide variety of Cosmos ecosystem assets and interchain assets as collateral. The mechanism is designed to be the most reliable model for stablecoins, ensuring it is censorship-resistant, permissionless, and decentralized.
