Bifrost Voucher ASTR (vASTR) is a liquid staking token that represents ASTR staked in the Astar Network via Bifrost. vASTR is minted through Bifrost's liquid staking solution, which enables users to stake their ASTR tokens seamlessly across Substrate parachains and EVM compatible parachains via Polkadot XCM.
Bifrost Voucher ASTR (vASTR) is a liquid staking token that represents ASTR staked in the Astar Network via Bifrost. vASTR is minted through Bifrost's liquid staking solution, which enables users to stake their ASTR tokens seamlessly across Substrate parachains and EVM compatible parachains via Polkadot XCM.
vASTR secures the underlying ASTR reserve and offers a yield-bearing feature. Users can deposit ASTR tokens into the Bifrost OmniLS protocol on Astar zkEVM and receive vASTR tokens. vASTR can be traded in open markets or redeemed back to ASTR, effectively holding an ASTR staking position and earning staking rewards. This liquid staking model allows for instant yield and liquidity.
