Overview
bHBD is a token built on the BNB Smart Chain blockchain and is a wrapped version of the HBD token (Hive Backed Dollar) on the Hive Blockchain. The HBD token is the longest standing algo-stablecoin in the crypto market but has encountered difficulties in achieving mass adoption. HBD has a fixed savings rate of 20%, which addresses the demand for HBD.
Purpose
bHBD tackles the supply issue faced by HBD by offering liquidity to the HBD market. It is backed 1:1 by the native HBD token and aims to provide an onramp and offramp solution for users to seamlessly enter and exit the Hive Ecosystem. Additionally, users can earn yield in the form of CUB tokens through this process.
