Description
Beta Finance is a cross-chain, permissionless money market protocol designed to facilitate lending, borrowing, and short selling of crypto assets. This protocol allows anyone to create a money market for any crypto asset, providing flexibility and accessibility to a diverse range of tokens. Lenders can earn risk-free yield on both popular and lesser-known assets, including yield-farmed tokens. Borrowers can use ETH and/or stablecoins as collateral to access crypto assets, and traders can use the "1-Click" short tool to short any crypto asset seamlessly. The protocol also includes liquidation functionality, where users can earn rewards for monitoring and liquidating under-collateralized positions. Beta Finance's isolated collateral model and dynamic interest rate ensure fund security and volatility mitigation. The BETA token serves as the native utility token, enabling staking incentives, liquidity mining, and governance functions. The protocol aims to offset crypto volatility and promote widespread adoption of DeFi.
