BarnBridge is the first tokenized risk protocol, utilizing smart contract technology to track and attribute yield to divided allotments of capital trustlessly and transparently. This enables the creation of derivative products to hedge against various market-driven fluctuations. Initially focusing on yield sensitivity and market price, the platform plans to introduce a broader spectrum of hedges against fluctuations in the decentralized ecosystem, aiming to be platform and asset agnostic.

Risk Management and Tokenization

BarnBridge reduces the risks associated with DeFi, such as inflation risk, market price risk, and cash-flow volatility risk, by tokenizing risk exposure. This allows for the creation of tokenized derivatives that enable fine-tuned risk management and provide investors with options for different levels of risk and yield.

BOND Token

The BOND token is the native utility token of BarnBridge, used for staking and governance. As a governance mechanism, BOND holders can vote on updates to the platform. The token is an ERC-20 token with a total supply of 10 million, and its supply is governed by a specific release schedule.
