Arkadiko USDA
The Arkadiko protocol enables trustless and stable loans backed by Stacks Tokens (STX). To mint USDA, users need to over-collateralize Stacks (STX) tokens into an Arkadiko Stacks Vault. As a stablecoin, USDA exists to maintain relative price stability in volatile markets.
Vaults
Vaults allow users to lock collateral tokens and specify the amount of USDA debt to be incurred. Users can adjust the collateral and debt at any time or close the vault entirely. The system permits the configuration of stability fees and minting fees.
Collateral Tokens
Each wallet can create a single vault for each collateral token. Collateral tokens are associated with predefined risk parameters:
- Max debt: the maximum total debt allowed in the system.
- Vault min debt: the minimum debt requirement for a vault.
- Stability fee: the annual stability fee based on debt.
- Liquidation ratio: the threshold collateral-to-debt ratio for vault liquidation.
- Liquidation penalty: the additional collateral forfeited upon liquidation.
- Redemption fee: the fee for redeeming USDA.
Liquidation and Redemption
If the collateral-to-debt ratio falls below the liquidation threshold, the vault will undergo liquidation. USDA holders can redeem their USDA at its face value, converting it into the underlying collateral.
