AmazeWallet is a multichain self-custodial cryptocurrency mobile wallet available on both Android and iOS. It is built on top of the Amazechain, a proprietary layer one blockchain. The wallet offers several features such as a mobile miner, NFT minting and marketplaces, and a peer-to-peer encrypted messenger.
History and Development
The AmazeToken project began in 2017. After years of research and development, the team established a means for mobile phones to act as light nodes on the chain, allowing users to mine and validate transactions. This innovation enables trustless access to multiple blockchain networks without relying on centralized RPC providers.
Key Features
- AmazeWallet is both a gateway to exchanges and DeFi platforms and supports direct connections to multichain networks.
- The NFT minting and marketplaces have very low gas fees, providing a cost-effective solution for users.
- The encrypted messenger prioritizes user privacy by requiring a private key to access messages.
- The AmazeWallet is currently free to download from the Google Play Store and is available in TestFlight mode on the App Store, with a full release anticipated soon.
Utility Token - AmazeToken (AMT)
AmazeToken (AMT) is the utility and governance token used within the Amaze ecosystem. It serves various purposes:
- It is used for gas fees in transactions.
- It is used for staking to secure the network.
- It facilitates interactions and transactions on NFT marketplaces.
- It pays commissions for token swaps.
Future Development
The project is working on additional features that include fiat on/off ramps, payment systems, and a decentralized exchange on the Amazechain. Once the AmazeDAO is established, AMT will serve as a governance token.
