Aelf is a versatile business blockchain platform that aims to transform how businesses deliver services. It allows businesses to create decentralized applications (dapps) on their own chains with minimum effort. Its blockchain system incorporates modern technologies such as cloud nodes and parallel processing to achieve secure transactions at a commercial scale. The Aelf cryptocurrency, denoted by the symbol ELF, was launched on December 21, 2017, without an ICO and had private investors on board for better compliance. Aelf was developed by Ma Haobao and is also working with Innovation Alliance to increase the acceptability of blockchain technology. It uses a rewards system, Candy, where users can earn points and convert them into ELF by completing simple tasks. Aelf's project also utilizes a unique governance model to build a full blockchain operating system.
